Nelson Mandela's Death Celebrated and Mourned

Former President Nelson Mandela, health had been in decline for more than a year after South Africa hosted the Soccer World Cup in 2010.  

He was in and out of Heart Medi-Clinic Hospital in Pretoria. His last in-hospital stay at Heart was in 2013, in which his stay lasted more than 16 weeks starting the first week of June.  

Mr. Mandela was finally taken to his home in the leafy upscale neighborhood of Houghton Estate, in Johannesburg, in the early spring (South Africa), where he died on December 5th.
